iPod (Don’t') Touch may be a little extreme of a name but I thought it had a clever ring to it so I went with it. The purpose of this blog is to expose some truths about the iPod Touch based on my experience as an early adopter (I got one on day 1) and ongoing user. Overall, I’m satisfied with the Touch but far from overjoyed. I would certainly not strongly recommend that somebody buy one. Its a very nice device in many ways but Apple should have done much better. I expected more for the price.
And that explains how I felt before Apple decided to charge iPod users an additional $20 to catch up to iPhone software. Now I’m not sure if I consider myself satisfied with the product or should downgrade my opinion to ‘less than satisfied.’
Please read this blog and the many other experiences by early iPod Touch owners posted elsewhere before purchasing one. If you read this and think you’d be unhappy with this product, then I hope to save you the 10% restocking fee that Apple will charge you for returning an iPod Touch for a refund.
